There are two practices a week for each respective team. Both teams practice together on Sunday (10:00 PM - 12:00 AM), white team practices Tuesday (10:00 PM -12:00 AM), and the blue team practices on Wednesday (10:00 PM - 1 2:00 AM) in the Johnson Center.
How often do we travel?
There are usually 3 tournaments in the fall and 3 in the spring, with the last one in the spring being nationals, which is usually a farther destination. We usually choose tournaments based on their location. We tend to stay within a 5 hour radius of Lexington, therefore making it a drivable trip. Sometimes there is an overnight hotel stay, which is included in the dues.
How much does it cost?
Fees for each semester are usually around $300-350 (~$750 for the year), which includes hotel accommodations, travel expenses, tournament entry fees, etc. We also participate in fundraising to help pay for our expenses.
